We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Finance Officer to join our team.

Position Overview  

As a Finance Officer at Sharab Hospital Ltd, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring efficient reconciliation processes, and managing both receivables and payables with high integrity and professionalism. This role requires a strong technical foundation in financial reporting, reconciliation, and cash flow management, alongside key personal attributes such as attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills. The Finance Officer will play a critical role in supporting the organization’s financial health through diligent record-keeping, timely reporting, and effective financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliation, ensuring all discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.
  • Oversee sales reconciliation by aligning sales records from multiple sources with internal financial systems.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including tracking credit sales, implementing recovery processes, and liaising with debtors for timely collections.
  • Handle accounts payable, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and regular reconciliation of vendor statements.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reports to support informed decision-making.
  • Supervise the work activities of the account clerks and cashiers.
  • Working with procurement to ensure the completeness of documentation before payment
  • Any other duties assigned by your line manager

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced diplomas or professional accounting qualifications such as CAT and CPA will be considered based on the applicant’s experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a finance or accounting role and demonstrable experience specifically in performing bank reconciliation and sales reconciliations, debt recovery, and payables management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks, with the ability to use Excel formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience in preparing for and assisting with financial audits is a plus.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time position with regular office hours.
  • This employment will be fixed term for twelve (12) months and subject to renewal.
